If you read my bottom post, I was thinking about switching to WordPress.org.
Now I'm thinking about Tumblr, though. What do you think ---- WordPress.org or Tumblr?
I personally am leaning forward to using WordPress.org instead, since it is just overall amazing.
Thanks,
Red.

WordPress.org Possible Switch?

Hey everyone.
I'm thinking about switching to WordPress.org on my Bluehost account.
What do you think? Think WordPress.org would be better? I personally prefer it over Blogger, seeing how smooth it is and all.
I'm definitely not going to use WordPress.com --- .org is so much better than .com, really.
So.... opinions, please? You can also contact my Twitter: @RedCP.
Thanks,
Red.

Hey everyone, sorry for the inactivity.
I just managed to get back on my laptop for a little bit (read my posts titled "Oak Tree" for more information). I'm thinking about switching to WordPress.org on a web-host instead of using Blogger, but I'm not quite sure yet.
I don't have much information. We're at my grandparent's house right now (mom's side). School begins August 6, 2012, which sucks because we're not moving back into our house until late August or early September. It would be too hard to move again, just for three weeks.
I do have to partially blame the school system --- I mean, that's way too early, and they expect to end school in early May-ish. That's just frustrating.
Anyway, more information later. Thanks everyone!

Oak Tree

Lol, that last post was so not good. So let me tell you about the oak tree story in a better format. *
(If you're in a lazy mood, then long story short: An oak tree limb fell directly on my house from 40 feet above on May 30, 2011, aka Memorial Day of 2011.)
So, here goes nothing. *Also, I'll edit this post a little later, to add more details.
Around May 30, 2011, aka Memorial Day of 2011, an oak tree fell on my old 93 year old "deadly" home. The reason my house wasn't completely crushed and we're all still alive (spoiler alert! xD) is because our house's material was "oak", which they no longer use. It is very strong and I hear it's rare. So, it was 4AM, and I had stayed up two nights in a row. I really wanted to stay up again, but I literally fell over onto my bed and just dozed off. So, my mom was walking to the back of our house to view the quiet night. It was extremely calm, literally no breeze or wind, and the temperature was just right. From my mom's perspective, the ground started shaking, like an earthquake. She could hear mysterious cracking sounds. Then, the windows literally burst in, like some sonic boom had occurred. It suddenly became dusty, and the power went off. Lastly, there was a loud "BOOM!" like a nuclear explosion. I bet it woke up the whole county (except..... well, I'll go on). My dad immediately woke up, hearing my mom crying "The oak tree fell! The oak tree fell!" . I woke up to my mom's screaming, since I was soooo tired. LOL. I'm still embarrassed about that from today. All the dogs were put in my bedroom, and I had no idea what was going on. I couldn't breathe -- literally. I felt like I was going to pass out once again, until my dad saved me and the dogs, and rushed us onto our porch. I soon learned that the oak tree fell. I could hear sirens, from police cars and engineers. Also, some CBS reporters came, but at the wrong time. My grandparents from my mom's side, which live relatively close to us, and aunt, stopped by. My grandfather got so enraged at the poor CBS reporters that he just.... shooed them off. Darn it, I could have been on TV. Not that I really wanted to, in my pajamas. However, we learned from the police that the oak tree was not what fell, but a limb. They measured it, and were shocked to say that our oak tree was 10x the average size of what it should be. The three limbs were the actual average size of an oak tree, so we just say an oak tree fell on our house. It also fell on our left neighbor's house, but it didn't really affect them at all.
Anyway, we've moved so many times.... let me tell you all the times I've moved in my life.
- From the "Old House" to the "Bird House" (that's what I called our new home, thanks to a terrifying parrot). I was age 3 (parrots don't scare me any more.)
- Here comes the oak tree part. From the Bird House to the our grandparent's house. It's actually very nice, and they have tons of acres in their neighborhood. DID YOU KNOW: one of the members of Lynyrd Skynyrd is their neighbors!
- From their house to the Georgian Terrace, celebrating their 100th anniversary. 9th floor, the highest floor from the original Georgian Terrace.
- Around December/January, an asbestos leak from the roof leaked right outside our hotel room. Asbestos is deadly, and was used in our home (as well as lead paint). The general manager and other workers came. My mom was shouting at him to let us go, but the general manager threatened us and would not let us leave. He wouldn't even let me leave the room, either. We're lucky not to be dead. Eventually, my grandparents came to pick me up. The G.M. got scared at the sight of my grandfather (who was a soon-to-be admiral in the navy) so he let me leave. My mom started refusing to leave, but we're all okay. I moved to my grandparent's house for just a day or two.
- Moved to another room in the Georgian Terrace, which was just toxic. It was hard to breathe in, and just.... just no. I think the G.M. did this intentionally. We only moved to another room while we looked for a place to stay.
- Moved to Bryson Square, an amazing, luxurious apartment complex. It was such a great place.
- On June 29, we moved to our grandparent's house.
Oh, let me tell you a scary part. So, yeah, I wanted to stay up again. Sadly, though, I fell asleep. So, I had a bean bag where I would hang out, reading, playing on my computer, watching TV with my mom, loved it. If it wasn't for my sleepiness, which I wasn't so sleepy until then oddly enough, I would have died - guaranteed. A huge chunk of roof fell on my beanbag. The worst part is, it flipped on it's other side, where it was covered with nails pointing down. These nails were holding the roof to the.... "other roof". It would have been an X-rated (for violence) movie scene. My mom is always chanting how God spared our lives. I am always praying and thanking for that.
So yeah, it's been very hard, and it's not getting any better, especially with this heat wave. :\
So, there's a more detailed post.

ABC Rips-Off Big Brother from CBS
Published :
7:37 PM

Thomas

I don't know how to start this, so I'll jump right into it.
While watching CNN to see what the Supreme Court's decision of Obamacare would be (Americans), I saw a scroll that said "CBS says ABC copied Big Brother with Glass House".
I haven't seen Glass House, but..... from the commercials, it seems nothing like Big Brother. I lol'd when I read this.
Okay, forget what I said. If you didn't know, an oak tree fell on my house on Memorial Day 2011/May 30. <--- Ouch. I'm not going to say much, just read it here (modified post). So yeah, at my grandparent's house. They have XFINITY On Demand. So, I saw Glass Holes on Demand on ABC On Demand.
Ocrd.
This is probably the most horrific show ever put on television. The people on it are sooooooooooooooooo not smart. I mean, most of them. There's this one guy who "asked the viewers" if he should be the most amazing criminal ever on the history of TV, and America voted yes. So, he's just acting like a total jerk. How genius of him. "Since I'm rude, I won't get voted off!". Psh. He's always calling people fat cows and things like that. From seeing the 10 people (I really don't know the exact number) who voted him off, I remember his name being Alex.
Then, they have some creepy girls. One of them is a nurse, mother, and..... just watch the first episode. Another girl said, "I think it's cool that we're going into our bikinis because the viewers would probably love to see more of our summer bodies". Just no. Just no.
This show is really similar to Big Brother. The people are young, a bit strategic, and it seems that our hosting friend is unknown -- like one of the seasons on Big Brother, with some anonymous person ruining everybody's life on the show. The Glass House is completely made of glass, so there is no privacy. I mean, who would want to go where there is absolutely no privacy 24/7?! Ewwwwww. Even the showers aren't covered up (so I hear).
Also, they have live cameras so we can see what the contestants are doing at the moment. I laughed so hard, remembering the moments when I spied on the Big Brother people. Although, here's a thought I thought of.....
From watching my mom watching these shows, I heard that CBS ripped off ABC's "The View" with "The Talk". (Gotta walk the walk, and talk the talk). The View debuted in 1997, while The Talk just came out back in 2010. Do you think ABC is just getting revenge? Because we all know that Big Brother is probably the best show in the history of everything.
One more thing to add on.... bravo Disney. ABC is owned by "The Walt Disney Company", which produces lovely kid games like Club Penguin. I've been laughing all day and all night at the thought of this. And now, they put "The Glass House" on? I mean, I know Disney does things like this, but it seems funny, since when you think of Disney, you think of happiness and joy.
Honestly, I prefer CBS than ABC. The only good shows on ABC are Modern Family, The Middle, and Dancing with the Stars (<--- whoop). I've lost total interest in "Suborgatory" or whatever, and The Middle is kind of getting lame to me. CBS has Criminal Minds and The Big Bang Theory. I know, I said two shows, but these put together...... =D! The Big Bang Theory is such a great modern sit-com that I love so much and it's so funny and yeah. Criminal Minds is the best cop show ever. It's basically an FBI team called the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) that "takes apart the criminal".
Alright, long post. Good day to all of you.

Job Interview

Hey everyone. :)
So you know that game I play, Chobots.net? Awesome game. 10/10. I highly recommend playing. http://chobots.net/. Have fun. So recently, The Chobots Team started applications (http://chobots.net/jobs/) where you can apply for a job. It isn't exactly a paying job or anything, since the game is ran by, after all, pre-teens and teens, but it's pretty sweet. So, I applied for Moderator. Rejected. Support. Rejected. Sad.
However, on May 31, 2012, someone named Zoozach (username: Zoo, although signs his name with Zach) accepted my moderator application! He said he was thrilled with it. I added his Skype recently to have a job interview with him. I am really exited, if I make it as a moderator on Chobots.net. My username is "thomas". You'll probably find me on Mango, Cafe Street. So yeah, wish me luck! Fingers crossed! :D

Game Review: Chobots.net

Type: Legal Virtual World Recreation
Succeeded: Chobots.com
Rated: E - Comic Mischief, Mild Cartoon Violence
★★★★★
Chobots.net (http://chobots.net) is a virtual world for the whole family. It succeeded a game called Chobots (now referred to as Chobots.com), making it a virtual world recreation. The game is also 100% legal. It first released publicly on October 6, 2011. The creator was named smoochict, and the other two owners were/are Star and Trey.
Interface
The Chobots.net interface differs from the original version. It also is very unique, differing from other typical game interfaces. Most have their settings at the bottom, which is also an excellent interface. Though, this shows their creativity. The chat bar, settings, and map are at the bottom. All the other settings are at the top, along with the rank your chobot is and how many bugs (coins) you have. It's an interesting interface.
Interaction & Updating
Unlike many other multiplayer virtual worlds, Chobots.net, other then chatting basically, has a forum. (http://chobots.net/forum) A forum is a community based online website where you can chat in certain topics. Chobots.net's Forums are hosted by myBB, a great forum host. The forums have nearly every chobot as well. Like every game, Chobots.net has a blog as well. (http://blog.chobots.net/) Their blog is well designed, and is just like the Chobots.com blog. Though it is very "basic" and not lots of design to it.
The Team
The team is amazing. They create much fun, and is really nice. :)
The Typical Chobot
A chobot has a nice design. Because of agency on Chobots, loads of chobots are really kind. Most players are about 10 and up, but some are younger. The game is rated E (by Red's Room). Lots are also jokey, and use cyber-abbreviations, like LOL and BRB. It is easy to make friends, though.
So, overall, I rated the game five stars.

Oak Tree News

So lots of people are curious about my oak tree incident. So now it all comes down under to one post.
Anyway, we were living in the Georgian Terrace (fancy, fancy) but now we're moving to Bryson Square. It's a great place, but far away from the places I need to go to. We'll manage though. I mean, sure getting up at 5:30 AM is hard, but it'll become easy as pie where I am. Anyway, the final plans have finally been made official and are approved by everyone. They've already started the construction. Oh, I forgot. Our contractor is called HammerSmith. Not a bad company. Try them. See what they have to say on Facebook or Twitter.
Unedited.
Anyway, that's pretty much it. It's been a hard year, we've been piled with work because of our finals coming in late April and early May. That's 2-3 months. Then we get pointless work. But learning about the new level is good. And some work is fun.
Some.
Yeah, that's it. Bye-bye.
